Vintage Aviation Lodge
Vintage Aviation Lodge (VAL) is a Small Business registered on January 1, 2001, in the State of Alabama. VAL is compliant with business size standards listed under NAIC code 532411. We are located on a three-acre site adjacent to a privately owned, public use airport (FAA designator, 3M5) in Brownsboro, Alabama. Direct taxi access from our location to the runway is available. We offer aircraft support services to US Government agencies.
Vintage Aviation Lodge not only pilots and maintains An-2 aircraft but the rental cabins are now under construction. The lodge will have several unique rental cabins, designed and decorated around great aviation pioneers. The first cabin has got to be the Wright Brothers Cabin. These cabins will only be rented to pilots and parking for your airplane will be provided, under a covered pad just a short distance from your front door. Fly in, eat a steak, kick back. On the following pages you will find one called "land". This is the first structure being built and will house the caretaker (me) and be the main lodge building (office).
My goal is to search out cool, turn of the century antiques, and other items that will make your stay as authentic as possible. This list represents some of my acquisitions for the first cabin
