The Land

The generator is in place and ready to run the saws, drills etc. |

Eric has been hand digging these new holes, in clay. I have decided to expand the floor plan, now rather than later. |

After completing the layout and notching the poles to accept the 2x12 ledgers I noticed a termite in one of the poles. Needless to say, it was removed and this is the replacement. |

The temperature was well over 100 degrees and the humidity was making me melt away. |
 |
At the end of the day we were left with lots of materials to get put away. Usually I try not to purchase any more materials then I can get installed that day. It was so hot today that we did not accomplish what I had hoped for. |

The deck area is complete. It is now about even with the creek bank. |
