This is the Lodge Office Structure.
The Land

New as of 8-3-2002
The generator is in place and ready to run the saws, drills etc.
Eric has been hand digging these new holes, in clay. I have decided to expand the floor plan, now rather than later.
The hand digging continues.
After completing the layout and notching the poles to accept the 2x12 ledgers I noticed a termite in one of the poles. Needless to say, it was removed and this is the replacement.
Here I am, notching the new pole.
The temperature was well over 100 degrees and the humidity was making me melt away.
At the end of the day we were left with lots of materials to get put away. Usually I try not to purchase any more materials then I can get installed that day. It was so hot today that we did not accomplish what I had hoped for.
A nice shot of Eric.
The deck area is complete. It is now about even with the creek bank.
From this top shot you can see the additional floor space from the placement of the new holes.
