Several trees were cut down to make room for the first cabin area.
I used my new lazar level to place the marking stakes.
This is the first of many hand scratched building plans.
Each pole is numbered depending on the over all length.
After the giant 24" auger drilled the first of eight holes to a depth of 5 feet, the first pole gets lifted and set in place.
Checking with a "plumb bob" to see if the poles are straight before burring the bases.
What is left of the hole, is filled and hand tamped.
Another pole goes in.
Before the last pole went up, I placed a Jolly Roger in an appropriate place.
After a full day of pole setting, the last one goes into place.
The plan is: The cabin will be built on top of these poles.
