Several trees were cut down to make room for the first cabin area. |

I used my new lazar level to place the marking stakes. |

This is the first of many hand scratched building plans. |
 |
Each pole is numbered depending on the over all length. |
 |
After the giant 24" auger drilled the first of eight holes to a depth of 5 feet, the first pole gets lifted and set in place. |

Checking with a "plumb bob" to see if the poles are straight before burring the bases. |
 |
What is left of the hole, is filled and hand tamped. |
 |
Another pole goes in. |
 |
Before the last pole went up, I placed a Jolly Roger in an appropriate place. |
 |
After a full day of pole setting, the last one goes into place. |
 |
The plan is: The cabin will be built on top of these poles. |
