OK, I KNOW THE PRICES OF RV's ARE UP... AND ONE LUCKY BUYER OUT THERE IS GOING TO GET A GOOD DEAL ON MINE. I HAVE CHECKED ALL OF THE INTERNET PRICING ON RV-4's AND YOU WON'T FIND ONE AS CHEAP, ANYWHERE. I HAVE PRICED THIS COOL LITTLE PLANE TO SELL. Built by Austin Clift (Yakima, WA) in 1989, and always hangared. Serial #22. O-320 E2D, TTE 1870 hrs... First run engine, never rebuilt. SN#L-44381-27A removed from Cessna. compression's are still good. TTAF 170. Nav and Strobe lights. King KX-155 flip flop nav/com, vor. King mode C transponder. ELT. 2 place intercom w/soft return on music. Magellan GPS in stack and Magellan handheld in left side of dash. New paint 30 hours ago. New pitot tube and cover. New tubes and tires. New interior. New electric flap kit, 40 degrees/4 seconds. Last condition inspection 9-8-00. I love this plane and hate the thought of going slower than 140 kts @ 7ish gph @ 2300 rpm. Max speed 210 mph. I flew this baby from Los Angeles to Huntsville Alabama in 11 hours... This is a great airplane that is very forgiving with a stall speed of 47. I currently fly off of a 2100 grass strip and have no problems with short landings. There are two kinds of planes.. ones that you fly and ones that you show, this one will never be a show plane. It is mechanically 100% but has some minor imperfections in the detail on the exterior. It is painted white and looks like a 10 from 10 feet away. (See pics) There are some minor runs in the paint and a few miss aligned screw holes, that type of thing. My selling price reflects these imperfections on the exterior and the high time engine. I would have to say that it would be rated an 6 outside and an 8 inside. Be realistic folks, if you want a 50K airplane.. then spend 50K.. If you don't mind some minor imperfections (aesthetics only, not structural) then consider this one. You can fix this stuff yourself and save big bucks, or just leave it alone (like i did) and just enjoy flying it. At this price I am sure it won't last long. The sale price is 33K.
